Ensuring your adult dog is well-behaved starts the moment you bring them home from the breeder at eight weeks old! The first few months of your puppy's life are critical, with several pivotal growth, socialization, and fear periods all happening before 18 weeks old! Starting a good training and socialization program from the beginning will set you and your puppy up for success and help prevent long-term behavior issues through early prevention and laying the foundation for a harmonious relationship with your pup.
The initial weeks after your puppy's adoption are critical as they transition from being with their mother and littermates into a new environment. This period requires continuous supervision and guidance to help them navigate changes, including crate training, potty training, and exploration. Harmonious Handling provides the perfect launchpad to help your puppy navigate these changes while teaching them important life skills. Our Board and Train Programs will help your puppy learn their basic commands and work through potty training, ensuring they are comfortable in a crate, jumping, puppy biting, proper socialization, confidence building, and daily enrichment for proper mental health.
